About Us

“Life doesn’t make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all.”

–Erik Erikson

My background

As a Psychologist

When I was a teenager I had always been fascinated by people and how they behave and think. However most of my childhood was filled with music and extramural activities, if I wasn’t competing at the eisteddfodd for music, I was practicing for the hockey B team.

In my matric year I had 2 choices for my university application music and psychology. I chose psychology however I continued with music as i joined the Nelson Mandela University second choir, I however stopped the choir practice as I didn’t make it into the first choir of the University as I had hoped. I focused my attention on psychology. I now hold a Masters in social sciences degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal( 2014).

I have since been harnessing my craft as a social scientist through working at a psychiatric hospital for the past 10 years, concurrently I started my private practice in 2016.

I have since written and published a self help book for couples who struggle with conflict management. I started contributing on Radio stations to advocate for mental wellbeing, I often speak on mental illness and mental health on these platforms. I have contributed on Trufm, Metrofm and SAfm on various topic. Recently I am contributing on Briefly news ( in their digital platform).

My framework is an eclectic one that caters to the individual unique needs of each client that I work with in therapy. However I am a strong psychoanalyst so I do a lot of psychodynamic psychotherapy in my practice . As a clinical psychologist I always give you my assessment and my analysis after the first session. We develop an intervention plan thereafter. I have been told by many of my clients that I have a calming energy which makes them at ease during therapy.
